Sat Nav’s great – but will anyone under 25 ever be able to read a map (or know that Slough’s not that far from Maidenhead)? Digital cameras are great – but in the hands of teenage girls, they’re narcissistic weapons of mass social networking destruction.
The Bullshit Bingo boys discuss whether modern inventions are good or bad… and seem to fall down on the side of ‘bad’. Up for discussion: mobile phones, travelcards, iPods and warm air hand-driers. But what’s Orville The Duck got to do with it?
Apart from looking like he’s been put through a warm air hand-drier, that is?

My other suggestion for a crap invention (couldn’t think of any good ones apart from possibly the wind-up radio / phone charger / torch etc.) was going to be the shopping trolley. Jesus christ, what a pile of rubbish the shopping trolley is! 2 million years of human evolution etc. etc.

so you don’t think mobile phones are good? Skype? iPods? have you moved into a yurt? ;-)
good point re. shopping trollies, though…

Are all these comments our equivalent of the DVD highlights?
