Yes, it’s that time of year again! Time to hang up your stockings/mistletoe/hang-ups and hide behind the sofa because the Christmas Day edition of Doctor Who is on. Or, in Eddie’s case: hide behind the sofa because The Snowman is on. Aww.

The year’s nearly over – and in our December podcast, we look back at our highlights of 2008, look ahead to who we’d like to see more (and less) of in 2009, and discuss the musicians we admire but don’t like, the songs which give us the creeps, and the outfits/costumes which do the opposite of giving us the creeps.

We’ve all got one – a song which gives us the creeps.  Or if you’re me, you don’t have one, you have several (not included in the podcast but also on my list: Eleanor Rigby).

Mind you, I think it was those frightful oink Cockney children shouting out in the chorus that really scared me on that last one, not the meat grinder. And who could forget the scary inflatable cartoon teacher! *Shudders*.

WHO WE’D LIKE TO SEE MORE – AND LESS – OF IN 2009

The Bullshit Bingo team discuss their most and least favouritest people of 2008, and they include this pair -

- not that they’re actually a ‘pair’ in the, say, Morecombe And Wise sense. Although, thinking about it, they could both do with some work right now, so it wouldn’t be such a bad idea.

Anyway, yes, Mr President and Mr Brand are two of our choices. But can you guess which of the ‘more’ or ‘less’ categories they fall into, and why? Aha! You’ll have to listen to Episode 14 to find out.

WHICH FANCY DRESS COSTUMES DO IT FOR YOU?

Fellas: if your girlfriend/wife walked into the bedroom one night wearing this -

PEOPLE YOU RESPECT – BUT DON’T ACTUALLY *LIKE*

No, not everyday people in your life – we don’t mean your boss. We mean rock and pop stars. The people you know you’re supposed to like.

You know: the musicians who you respect and everything, and you know they’re very good and all that, and you can obviously objectively admire their work, and blah blah blah – but let’s face it: they don’t really do it for you. You don’t really love ‘em.
